Tertiary technical schools in the Czech education system

This work deals with problems of the higher professional study. The goal of this work is to make a professional judgement about status of higher professional study within the Czech educational systém on the basis of an analysis of selected problems from its implementation. First, reflections on higher professional schools in public sources are evaluated. Open to public materials of the statě officials work - the Parliament, the government, the president and the Constitutional Court were analysed, together with the whole year 2005 issues of the nation-wide newspaper Mladá Fronta Dnes and the professional periodical Učitelské Noviny. Secondly, a comparative analysis of the legislative defínition of higher professional study with secondary and university studies was made, followed by an analysis of secondary education of the applicants for higher professional education. The finál part evaluates an extent of higher professional education being realized within one school subject together with a secondary professional one. Interconnected carrying out of the secondary and higher professional studies within the same subject is measured on the basis of comparing a number of pupils, students, the extent of teaching of particular teachers and utilization of classrooms in the school. Analysis of ICT accessibility at tertiary professional schools

The final bachelor's thesis studies the accessibility of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the educational process at tertiary professional schools (ISCED 5B) in order to analyze their approach to modern technological resources and services. The theoretical part presents findings on how technology, accessibility and effective use of ICT can support teaching and help schools in the management of the educational process. The practical part presents a questionnaire survey of the accessibility of specific technologies. Questionnaire survey was carried out among school directors and students. Other part of survey deals with applications and services that tertiary professional schools offer on their web pages. Based on the analysis of the accessibility this bachelor's thesis makes recommendations and suggestions for the support of ICT use in the learning and teaching process management. Pupils and students with disabilities in secondary and tertiary vocational education - educational and industrial structure 2016/17

In connection with the growing interest and the need for relevant information, this publication provides structured data sets on the educational and educational structure of pupils with disabilities newly admitted to 1st year of secondary and higher vocational education in the school year 2016/17. It complements statistical surveys that follow the development of the educational and vocational structure of pupils in secondary and tertiary vocational education, published annually by the National Institute of Education.

Development of the educational and vocational structure of pupils and students in secondary and tertiary vocational education in the Czech Republic and in regions of the Czech Republic and the position of young people in the labor market compared to the situation in the European Union 2016/17

The publication informs about the development of the educational structure of secondary education through the development of the numbers and shares of newly admitted pupils in 1st grade (for multi-year grammar schools in years corresponding to 1st year of secondary school) and on the development of the number of admitted pupils in further education and higher vocational education, by region. The material also provides data on the development of the branch structure of secondary and higher education broken down by group of branches, incl. graphs and tables for the years 2011 to 2016. The second part of the publication deals with the position of young people on the labor market in the Czech Republic and in the EU countries. Attention is paid to their participation in secondary vocational education in the individual countries as a whole and in the composition according to the degree of study. Data on the share of industry in youth employment, vacancies in labor markets and youth unemployment are also reported. Migration crisis is also mentioned.

Current System of Tertiary Education in Czech Republic - Time for a Change

Human capital is an important element creating competitive advantage of individual states. Tertiary education has a key role in increasing of human capital. The aim of this diploma work is an analysis of the system of tertiary education in the Czech Republic, which is topped with a proposal for its amendment. The hypothesis of optimal orientation of tertiary education and the need for appropriate reforms is tested. The diploma work presents the development of tertiary education in the Czech Republic and evaluation of its current state, which I did using custom indicators and statistical data from the OECD database, Czech Statistics Office and the National Institute of Professional Education. To find out the problems of the Czech tertiary education, I conducted a SWOT analysis created on the basis of an international comparison of tertiary education in the Czech Republic and selected countries (USA, Germany, China). In the final part of the work I evaluated selected problem areas in the context with relevant reform opinions for their solution and stated own suggestions and recommendations for changes in the tertiary education system obtained using causal analysis.
Analýza a návrh informačního systému pro IT infrastrukturu VOŠIS

Cílem a hlavní otázkou práce bylo najít optimální řešení problému analýzy a návrhu infrastrukturní databáze pro potřeby Vyšší odborné školy informačních služeb v Praze. S využitím teoretických i praktických znalostí, získaných během studia, povinné školní praxe i několikaleté práce v oboru jsem se zaměřil na použitelnost a univerzálnost mnou navržené infrastrukturní databáze. Práce je dělena do několika kapitol. Úvodní kapitola je zaměřena na objasnění důvodů, proč jsem si zvolil toto téma, na analýzu současného stavu evidence infrastruktury na Vyšší odborné škole informačních služeb v Praze, na analýzu potřeby evidence infrastruktury a na definici zadání a požadavků ze strany Vyšší odborné školy informačních služeb. Následující kapitola obsahuje rozbor některých řešení problému, jejich popis, klady, zápory a vzájemné porovnání. Další kapitoly již obsahují jedno zvolené řešení, jeho podrobnou analýzu, popis, objasnění otázky proč bylo vybráno právě toto řešení za nejvhodnější a nástin dalších možných obměn tohoto řešení infrastrukturní databáze v závislosti na změně zadání. V závěru práce poukazuji na přínosy plynoucí z této bakalářské práce.
